Abstract

Club players can easily deploy on court their unique 'bag of nerves', cramping their game. Following practical research, this paper explores how a Gestalt approach to tennis coaching supported by an extensive application of mindful breathing can help players improve their tennis by increasing awareness of their body and emotions, with a beneficial impact on their well-being.
